i-PoWER-XT - Network Extension Module

The i-PoWER-XT™ network extension module from Electronic Design Technology allows users to extend an i-LiNE network over distances up to 4000 feet. The i-PoWER-XT network extension module is designed to be installed in either a standard wall box or in a low voltage rough-in bracket. 

The i-PoWER-XT should be installed beside an electrical outlet so that the power supply can be easily plugged in. One i-PoWER-XT will easily extend the i-LiNE network beyond the 1000 feet and 60 devices recommended to be powered per branch on the i-PoWER-M1/4 modules. Each i-PoWER-XT will add an additional 1000 feet and 60 devices to the branch. In applications where the i-LiNE network needs to extend between two buildings, the i-PoWER-XT can be installed up to 3000 feet away from the i-PoWER-M1/4. Up to two i-PoWER-XT network extension modules can be used in one i-LiNE branch. The i-PoWER-XT also provides the power supply for the remaining i-LiNE network.
