i-PoWER-M4tp - Four Port Network Interface with Timers

The i-PoWER-M4tp™ network interface module provides an affordable four port communications interface with up to 32 timers between the i-LiNE products and intelligent controllers. The i-PoWER-M4tp network interface module also supplies the power for the i-LiNE communications network and powers the standalone i-LiNE devices.

The i-PoWER-M4tp links the i-LiNE network to an intelligent controller through an RS-232 communication port.

The  i-PoWER-M4tp module also provides the 12 volt power supply required by the i-LiNE products. Up to 254 i-LiNE products in one network can be connected to the i-PoWER-M4tp module. There are several power supplies available which plug into a standard 115 VAC 60 Hz or 220 VAC 50 Hz outlet to power the i-PoWER-M4tp and the i-LiNE network. It is recommend that the power is supplied by an uninterrupted power supply (UPS) in order to maintain the communications between the i-LiNE products in the event of power outages. A minimum 500VA UPS is recommended for a full branch of 254 i-LiNE products.

The i-PoWER-M4tp allows an i-LiNE network to be split into four different branches. Each branch can have up to a maximum of 254 i-LiNE devices. However each i-LiNE network has a total limit of 254 i-LiNE devices. Additionally up to 32 unique timed scenes can be created using the i-LiNE Installation Tool. The timers can be programmed in

several different configurations. A timer can be used to turn off a scene after a preset period of time or it can turn on another scene upon the expiration of a current scene.
