i-PoRT-IRs - Infra Red Port 

The i-PoRT-IRs™ Infra Red Connection Port provides an infra red interface between the i-LiNE™ Lighting Control System and a hand held universal learning remote. The i-PoRT-IRs connects to the i-LiNE network via the i-PoRT-COM using a null modem or serial cable. The i-PoRT-IRs is powered over the null modem or serial cable from the i-PoRT-COM. Older versions of the i-PoRT-IRs come with a separate power supply.

There is no limit to the number of i-PoRT-IRs that can be in an i-LiNE network. Additional the i-PoRT-IRs does not count as a node on the network. Other applications are available see the application notes for additional details.
