i-PoRT-COMp - Serial Connection Port

The i-PoRT-COMp™ Serial Port Connection provides an serial RS-232 interface between the i-LiNE™ Lighting Control System and a computer or controller. The i-PoRT-COMp has been designed to fit into the i-BoX and several other popular structured wiring panels. The i-PoRT-COMp can be used to connect to the i-PoRT-IR infra red interface modules. The i-PoRT-COMp can also be configured to supply i-LiNE network power, use a null modem cable, or a standard serial cable.

There is no limit to the number of i-PoRT-COMp that can be in an i-LiNE network. Additional the i-PoRT-COMp does not count as a node on the network. Other applications are available see the application notes for additional details.
