i-PoRT-COM - Serial Connection Port 

The i-PoRT-COM™ Serial Connection Port provides an serial RS-232 interface between the i-LiNE™ Lighting Control System and a computer or controller. The i-PoRT-COM has been designed to fit into a standard single gang wall box or rough-in bracket. The i-PoRT-COM can be used to connect to the i-PoRT-IR infra red interface modules. The i-PoRT-COM can also be configured to supply i-LiNE network power, use a null modem cable, or a standard serial cable.

There is no limit to the number of i-PoRT-COMs that can be in an i-LiNE network. Additional the i-PoRT-COM does not count as a node on the network. Other applications are available see the application notes for additional details.

The i-PoRT-COM can also be used in conjunction with the i-PoWER-XT as a flush mounted alternative to the i-PoWER-M1 solution.
