The
i-PoRT-C4p™ Four Port Contact Closure Port provides an interface between the i-LiNE™ Lighting Control System and
multiple other devices
such as drapes, security systems, motors, remote key fobs, garage
doors, door bells, motion detectors, and many additional devices.
The i-PoRT-C4p Contact Closure Port is available in three basic
models, a low power model with four 1 amp loads capability, a mixed
power model with two 1 amp loads and two 10 amp loads capability, and a high
power model with four 10 amp loads capability. Each port has both a
contact that sense the open and closing of a switch and an output
relay port that can control a device.
The i-PoRT-C4p can be programmed to control a
scene or to be part of a scene. The programming can be done either
through software or through the two buttons located on the front
panel. Scene status is indicated via the LED located at the top of
buttons. There are multiple modes that the i-PoRT-C4 can be setup
to, depending on what type of device is being control. See
application notes for additional details. The i-PoRT-C4p responds to any controller with a serial interface
through the i-PoWER-(x) Network Interface Module and communicates
using the i-LiNE protocol. By using multiple i-LiNE products, the
user can define and implement various multi-way switching and
dimming configurations. Scenes can be programmed into the i-PoRT-C4p
without the use of a controller. Advanced scenes which rely on
multiple sensor and external triggers will require a controller for
programming.
