The i-ON™ Intelligent Wall Switch provides ON/OFF switching
capability in automation and energy management applications. Load
status is indicated via an LED located at the top right corner of
the switch face. The i-ON provides independent load control that
can address 600 Watt Incandescent, 5 Amp Resistive, 600 Watt
Ballast, or 1/6 HP Motor loads. The i-ON switches may be bound to
other i-LiNE products on the network. The i-ON switch may also be
remotely controlled by other i-LiNE products or by a controller
using the i-LiNE protocol.
The i-ON responds to any controller with a
RS-232 interface and communicates using the i-LiNE Protocol. By
using multiple i-LiNE products, the user can define and implement
various multi-way switching and dimming configurations. Scenes can
be programmed into the i-ON without the use of a controller.
Advanced scenes which rely on sensor and external triggers will
require a controller for programming.
The i-ON is stylish in
its appearance with a streamlined switch-plate design. Special
attention to aesthetics allows the i-ON to compliment both home and
office applications. The i-ON uses a relay to provide ON/OFF
switching for incandescent, resistive, ballast, and 1/6 hp motor
loads. Additionally a physical disconnect switch is provided below
the rocker switch to bypass the electronic switching mechanism in
the event that a switched load requires servicing, thus ensuring the
safety of the operator. |
