The
i-BoX-2™ Medium Enclosure for the i-LiNE lighting control system has
been designed to accommodate up to 12 single frame panels. Panels
designed to fit into the enclosure include the i-PoWER-(x)p network
interface modules and the i-PoRT-(x)p contact closure and interface
ports. The i-BoX-2 comes with a network battery and cables to
connect to the i-PoWER-(x)p modules. The battery provides an
uninterrupted power supply for the i-LiNE network and provides
continuous network operation in the event of a power failure or a
partial loss of power in certain areas of the network.
The
spacing of the panel fasteners have been designed to allow mounting
of various third party module from several popular structured wiring
systems.
The
i-BoX-2 is designed to fit between standard 16 inch center-to-center
stud spacing. It is constructed of high quality sheet metal with a
power coat paint finish for durability. A lock is also supplied to
secure the network. Convenient wire knock out holes are provided on
the top and bottom of the enclosure. An electrical outlet is also
located in the bottom of the enclosure to provide a power source to
plug in the transformer for the i-LiNE network. The battery plugs
directly in the i-PoWER-(x)p module.
