The new
HMB™ momentary contact switch from EDT is a hardwired multi-button
switching solution that combines quality construction with elegance
and affordability.
The
construction of the HMB switch includes a rugged plastic enclosure
with six momentary contact closures and six status indicator LED’s.
The buttons are designed to provide a firm tactile feedback to the
user and the low current consumption of the LED’s (~2 mA/LED)
minimizes power supply requirements. The two RJ-45 connectors
located on the rear of the HMB allow for quick, reliable cable
connections and ease of installation.
The HMB
Switch blends quality construction with an elegant and contemporary
look to yield an aesthetic flush mounted multi-switch solution. The
LED’s provide a diffused green status indication that is adequate,
yet does not overpower or distract attention from the surrounding
room. The HMB Switch is available in White, Almond and Ivory color
selections and individual button labels are available upon request.
The HMB
Switch was also designed with affordability in mind. The simplicity
of the design allowed high quality components to be used in the
construction with the resulting end product at a fraction of the
cost of some competing multi-button solutions. We believe the HMB
Switch provides an innovative and affordable solution where a
multi-button switch is required.
